Nhớ Nắng - Thơ Lê Cẩm Thanh

Ai về qua phố Hội An
Nhặt nhùm sợi nắng tơ vàng quê tôi
Đã đi lưu lạc khắp nơi
Vẫn không quên được khung trời nắng xưa<!-- Read more -->

Đay vàng giăng giữa ban trưa
Tiếng quay xe chỉ nhặt thưa trong làng
Mẹ tôi sớm nắng chiều sương
Đêm về chắp bả dệt thương khó đời

Tôi quen tiếng nhịp con lơi
Ưa nghe mùi nhợ, nhớ lời ru êm
Rồi thương hoa nắng bên thềm
Có tôi, cô gái làm duyên hay cười

Rồi yêu bến Đợi rộn lời
Con đò ẻo lả mình phơi lụa vàng
Xứ người màu nắng mới sang
Bồi hồi với nắng bàng hoàng nỗi xưa

Ở đây dặm khách đò thưa
Tìm đâu được chút nắng trưa quê nhà

REMEMBERING THE SUNSHINE

English  version by   LY NGUYEN HUU   2009   -   Homeland Vietnamese  Poetry

Whoever returns in passing through the Hoi-An  town
Please pick up the yellow silken sunbeams of my homeland
I wandered in all places
I never forgot the former sunny vault of heaven

A golden belt was stretching at noontime
The silk-thread spinning wheeled sounds were heard legato and  lento
In the village
From sunny dawn to dewy dusk
My mother patched up lures weaving the difficulties of life at night-time

I became accustomed to the rhythm of the shuttle
I like to have a string smell to remember gentle lulling words
Then  ,  I loved sunny flowers on the verandah floor
In my presence  , the young lady minced with her oft-times graceful smiles

Then ,  the quiet awaiting ferry-landing  was animated by a boisterous brouhaha of  the words
The thin boat exposed itself the golden silk
In the foreign land  , the sunlight color was just coming
I was fretting intensively about the sunshine  , and being stunned by the former innermost  feelings

Right here  ,  ferry passengers were thinly crowded
How could I find out  a little bit of my homeland sunbeams  at noon   !
